Valencia Basket returns to the Roig Arena for a demanding end-of-week clash against Kosner Baskonia. 

Valencia Basket men’s team will need the extra boost from the Roig Arena after forcing a fifth game yesterday in their EuroLeague playoff series and facing Kosner Baskonia less than two days later (Sunday 10th, 7:00 PM, Roig Arena, DAZN/#Vamos) in a Round 30 Liga Endesa matchup. 

Just as happened in the first-leg game, the taronja side will have to recover as best as possible from the titanic effort required to win twice on the court of Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens and approach this direct clash in the battle for playoff seeding in the Liga Endesa with as much energy as possible, having already secured their playoff spot last week.

It will not be the easiest setting in which to end their recent run of defeats in the ACB against a team arriving in strong form and with positive results. The Vitoria-based side has won five of its last six visits to Valencia in domestic competition, although all three meetings this season have so far gone Valencia Basket’s way.

Valencia Basket will definitely be without the injured Xabi López-Arostegui and Josep Puerto. And after the extraordinary physical toll of the two EuroLeague playoff games in Athens, with the historic fifth game of that series looming, the taronja team could choose to complete the squad for this game with players from the U22 team.

Valencia Basket begins this Liga Endesa round in second place with a 21-8 record.
